Eurobeat King finally put up the pics from Sunday, so I can now show everybody my ghetto Dorohedoro skills.

I'm still getting over the minor cold I picked up at Yaoicon which turned into a major sinus infection. I feel like I got hit in the head with my bloody hammer! *sob*
Anyway, story time.
Getting into this costume involved tons of fake blood. I was out in the parking lot kneeling on all fours while ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) astrokittie and toggy threw fake blood on me from underneath so it looked like more realistic splatter and hit the hammer in a pool of fake blood to get it splashed too. Our friend Chris walked up and looked us over and said "You know, that's exactly what I'd expect from you three."

Dude, it's been almost five months since I updated this fic. Didn't seem that long at the time-- does it ever? Haha. I started to write this in class a few weeks ago and left it alone, and then found the third part of p.o.l. this morning and figured I could post them both, just to pretend like I did something with my weekend. And maybe one or two of you guys are still interest in hunk of junk?
Ah, and before anything else I must say nelzeben drew an awesome picture of Attiah from part VII, so please do check it out and marvel at how infinitely better that part has become because of it. ;}

( Applying for a job, to no avail. )
And typing all this out makes me sound so SOMETHING, but I'm frustrated and tired and angry. I don't know why I went to college any more, and I wish I hadn't.
I don't even like what I do anymore. There's nothing I like about any job I have, which is... unsettling. I can't even lie to myself about it anymore.
Actually, just typing all this out wore me out. There was more to go on about, including:
--the night job's continued insistence on having me do all the work, and if I get one toe out of line, screaming at me, while other people can actually BE RUDE to clients and get away with it
--the way I have to watch my finances, because we have to live off $150 for the next two weeks
--the way the parent's consistently being cut from work (due to budget cuts), which gives us even less to work with
--the way one of my cousins is staying with us "until she gets her house fixed" and making unrealistic demands on everything
And I don't mean to be bitchy all the time, but I just can't see a way out of any of it, LJ people. |

Dudes and dudettes, hey, if you celebrated it, Happy Halloween! Any cool stories? Your costume or the highlight of your night, the kinds of monsters that came out to see you? You know, the usual. Or if you didn't celebrate Halloween, happy weekend anyway!
Ah, so~ this was written in the spirit of Halloween and of good friends. It was supposed to be longer, but I stopped it short so that I knew I'd at least get this part up. If you guys like it...well that's a big if, huh? But if you do, I don't know, maybe drop me a line and I'll try to post some more, hey? :}
